Dr. Sonalika Agarwal

Assistant Professor, Hiroshima University, Japan

Dr. Sonalika Agarwal is an Assistant Professor at the Graduate School of Advanced Science and Engineering, Hiroshima University, Japan. She holds a Ph.D. in Physics (Materials Science) and has built a diverse academic and research career across institutions in Japan, India, South Korea, and Spain. Her research focuses on the synthesis and application of functional nanomaterials, including 1D, 2D, and 3D nanostructures, metal oxides (MOSs), transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs), core-shell structures, noble metal and alloy nanoparticles, and polymer nanocomposites. These materials are engineered for advanced applications in gas sensing, photocatalysis, and energy storage.
