Dr. Zengbao Jiao

Dr. Zengbao Jiao is an associate professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His research interests focus on the development of advanced structural materials, including ultra-high strength steels, high-entropy alloys, high-temperature superalloys, intermetallics, and nanostructured alloys. He has published more than 70 papers in technical journals, including 2 papers in Science, 2 in Nature Communications, 1 in Materials Today, and 15 in Acta Materialia. Dr. Jiao serves as a guest associate editor of the journal of Frontier in Materials and a member of associate editorial board of Materials Research Letters. He was invited for keynote and invited lectures in many renowned international conferences, including TMS meeting, MS&T meeting, and Asia Steel International Conference. He received various honors and awards, including the Acta Materialia & Scripta Materialia Outstanding Reviewer Award.
