Mr. Ho Nyeon Kim

Mr. Honyeon Kim is a senior officer (Colonel) in the Republic of Korea Air Force, currently serving in the Information and Communications branch. He received his B.S. degree from the Republic of Korea Air Force Academy in 1996 and an M.S. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Yonsei University in 2005. He is presently pursuing advanced studies in Defense Artificial Intelligence at Chung-Ang University.
His current research focuses on the quantitative modeling and evaluation of AI ethics in military contexts. Specifically, he is developing a mathematical function-based framework to assess ethical decision-making in autonomous combat systems. His forthcoming conference paper presents a quantitative ethics evaluation model designed for AI-powered military agents.
