Lieutenant Colonel Chulmin Yun currently serves in the Republic of Korea Army’s Information and Communications branch. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Honam University in 2007 and is pursuing a Master’s in Defense AI Convergence at Hongik University, graduating in 2026, alongside advanced studies in Defense Artificial Intelligence at Chung-Ang University. His research focuses on AI-based network path optimization in military environments, aiming to enhance communication efficiency through real-time adaptive AI solutions. He is particularly investigatingfederated learningfor military network optimization, enabling model improvement without exposing sensitive data. At an upcoming academic conference, he will present a federated learning-based routing model tailored to military networks.
