Jinyoung Bae is currently serving as a military civilian engineer in the ROK Army’s UAE Military Cooperation Unit. He received his B.S. degree in Information and Communication Engineering from Gachon University, South Korea. He has over 10 years of experience as an embedded software engineer, specializing in system-level development for consumer and industrial devices.
He worked as a senior developer and software team leader at LG U+, where he led the development of AI-based smart speaker platforms. He also contributed to the development of LG Electronics’ Bluetooth headsets, which ranked No. 1 in their category on Amazon for an extended period. Additionally, he participated in designing embedded systems for industrial mobile devices.
Building upon this experience, his research interests include lightweight AI optimization and real-time inference on embedded platforms for defense applications.
