Jaeyong Park is currently serving as a government official in the Republic of Korea Army. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the Korea Naval Academy in 1997, completed a master’s degree in Weapons Systems Engineering at the Korea National Defense University in 2008, and received his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Korea University in 2011. He is also currently enrolled in an advanced program in Defense Artificial Intelligence at Chung-Ang University. His primary research interests include the application of computer vision, data mining, and artificial intelligence to military training environments. His goal is to enhance and develop practical and efficient training methods in the military through AI-driven solutions. At an upcoming academic conference, he will present a model for a reservist training chatbot system developed using RAG-based Large Language Models (LLMs).
