Eddie Groom

Biography:

EDDIE GROOM is currently pursuing his PhD, bringing a robust professional background in
developing both hardware and software solutions across defense, industrial, and healthcare
sectors. He received his BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 1998, an MS in
Electrical and Electronic Engineering in 2007, an MBA in 2019, and dual MS degrees in
Healthcare Informatics and Healthcare Administration in 2021, all from the University of
Alabama at Birmingham. Eddie’s expertise spans FPGA, software, embedded systems, and
DSP design. His research focuses on machine learning, image processing, and data
science.
